I have had this wine more than just a few times. It is definitely one of my favorites. In my opinion it is one of the best Zinfandels you can get under 20 bucks, if not the best. I bought this on sale at my local wine shop for $15.
The aromas are of nice rich and dark fruits. It has a full body and has a subtle sweetness to it that I enjoy. It seems to taste better the more you let it breathe. Infact, I think it tastes best if you have some left over the next day.
I have taken this wine to many parties and I've served it at my own and it usually gets a good response. The only people I have known to dislike it are people not really in to red wines in the first place. It seems to be a bit bold for the light wine drinker.
