The Wine Party

Sunday evening we threw a wine tasting party with some of Vee's family. In total we had six people and six wines. I am going to post my tasting notes over the next couple of days, because I am short on time for blogging them all tonight. We had a great time and sampled awesome wines ranging from $7 to $35. We ate a cheese and a chocolate fondue and all the food seemed to taste better the more wine we consumed. Someone made a comment that they thought they weren't going to make it to the 3rd wine at their current rate of consumption (they were under the impression you had to finish a bottle before moving on to the next one) I explained that we were just going to sample each wine and then we could go back to the ones we liked and drink more. I had wondered why everyone was drinking so much of the first wine.

After going through all six bottles and a cheese fondue and a chocolate fondue we all got the munchies for some burgers and fries!

My tasting notes are going to be posted out of order from how had tried them, because I like reds the best so I will talk about them first.
