The upcoming Zin

We finally picked a day for us to drink the Martinelli Zin we purchased on our honeymoon. This Zin is special, for several reasons, it was the most expensive wine we've purchased in our young little wine drinking lives, and we tasted it at the quaint Martinelli Vineyard on our lovely honey moon and, upon the tasting at the winery, Ryan fell in love with it.

We wanted to save this special wine for a special occasion. Ryan kept changing dates: when I get a new job, when this side job takes off, when we've been married a year, when I come home from work tonight, etc.

We finally settled on a realistic, up-coming, celebration-worthy event: our 1 year anniversary as homeowners!- and since then Ryan has sort of begun a count down in his head that he mentions every time he a) drinks a zin b) walks past the Zin or c) when he's trying to think of a reason to drink it right then and there.

So because the time is nearing- and ryan has been keeping a mental count down- I thought this was only appropriate:
